Physical – Episode 7, Let’s Take This Show On The Road

Things are getting spicy as we zip towards the final few episodes of Physical on Apple TV+. This time round Sheila, Rose Byrne (“I Am Mother”, “Peter Rabbit”), is trying to get more money for Danny’s, Rory Scovel (“Robbie (TV)”, “Harley Quinn (TV)”), campaign.

This sees them head to party with some old friends which is where we also get to hear where Sheila’s food issues came into being.

For reasons that aren’t clear, but I’m sure will come back soon, we follow Tyler, Lou Taylor Pucci (“American Horror Story (TV)”, “A-X-L”), as he heads to his surfboard making friends house and winds up getting completely baked and buying a new board that he can ill afford.

Greta, Dierdre Friel (“New Amsterdam (TV)”, “Little Boxes”), meanwhile, gets low down and dirty with her husbands private video, to our surprise, and then eyes up the clippers…will she?

Sheila meanwhile, about to go off the deep end with food once more, takes a drive and winds up at her parents house.

This is probably a good thing as money is low, very low. Danny’s advert has been pulled after the cheque bounced and she needs a few thousand to get the videos copied for her new fitness videos.

Jerry, Geoffrey Arend (“Madam Secretary (TV)”, “Body Of Proof (TV)”), meanwhile, just before Sheila and Danny head off on their trip, has a cryptic word with Sheila, making it seems like he knows what she’s up to…does he?

We are introduced to John Breem’s, Paul Sparks (“House Of Cards (TV)”, “Waco (TV)”), family at his birthday party, where we see how quickly he can change mood and set everyone else on edge.

At the end of the night, once he’s finished writing cheques, he dives into his pool in his pyjamas and as we leave him, he appears to be struggling.

Naturally, as we are heading towards the end of season one, the cliffs are arriving thick and fast to which we must hang. We’ll plough on to see how they resolve, if indeed they do!

Physical is the latest TV foray from Apple TV+, or whichever way round that is, and is from producer Annie Weisman who brought us “Desperate Housewives” and the “About A Boy” series.

Directorial duties go to Stephanie Laing (“I’m Sorry (TV)”, “Made For Love (TV)”) with Annie Weisman (“Almost Family (TV)”, “About A Boy (TV)”), on writing duties.
