Super Bowl 2018 Trailers: From Mission Impossible To Jurassic World

On Sunday night, it was time for the biggest sport event of the year: Super Bowl. Not only do sport fanatics look forward to it every year but also film lovers because the Super bowl always promises new trailers of the most anticipated upcoming movies. This year, it was no different. From Mission: Impossible to Jurassic World. We got very spoiled!

A Quiet Place

A new trailer of the newest John Krasinski-directed horror film A Quiet Place was unleashed to us on Sunday night. Krasinski himself stars in the movie alongside Emily Blunt and together they portray a loving couple who want to protect their own children from monsters. The movie will have its premiere next month during the SXSW festival and, based on this trailer, it looks like the film will be a creepy and disturbing one.

The Cloverfield Paradox

The biggest surprise of the night was, without doubt, the trailer for The Cloverfield Paradox, which became the third Netflix movie. Not one single picture or video was released before this trailer and so this came almost full out-of-the-blue. The surprise became even better because it was announced that not only would the trailer be available but also the full movie itself. However, only on Netflix.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Watch the Jurassic World trailer here.

During the first trailer, we already saw that the dinosaurs will be back even bigger than in the previous film and this trailer confirms that. Alongside Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and the real life creatures, the creepy and dark aspect, that made the first movie a gigantic success, will return as well. Will Jurassic World smash the Box Office again this year?

Mission: Impossible – Fallout

Even an ankle injury didn’t hold Tom Cruise back doing his own stunts during the filming of Mission: Impossible – Fallout. During the trailer, it becomes clear that new chapter of the well known franchise is like the previous ones: stunts, action and violence. We know what to expect with Mission: Impossible, however, there are some new faces such as Angela Bassett and Henry Cavill. I’m curious to see what they will bring to Ethan Hunt’s life in Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Red Sparrow

For Red Sparrow, Jennifer Lawrence teams up again with the Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence and it seems that the venture will work again. Also starring in this American spy thriller with a sexy undertone are Joel Edgerton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Charlotte Rampling and Jeremy Irons. Ready to see what will happen when you bring a cast and crew like that together.

Skyscraper

If there’s one man that’s unstoppable on screen these days it’s Dwayne Johnson. After Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle last year and Rampage later on this year, Johnson will also star in Skyscraper, in which his character, Will Sawyer, will face a blazing fire in the world’s tallest building to save him family. We’ll see in July if he succeeds in that or not.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

Later on this year we’ll be able to see, for the first time, a Han Solo origin adventure. After original directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were replaced with Ron Howard, the Solo: A Star Wars Story teasers came later than first anticipated. However on Sunday we got the first glimpse of this movie and today we can expect the full trailer of it.

The Avengers: Infinity War

We thought that the epic battle scene in Captain America: Civil War was the scene in which we saw the most Avengers together. However, The Avengers: Infinity War will prove us wrong. With over more than 60 characters, Marvel steps up their game even more with this movie. Will this be as great as the previous movies? Or will that amount of characters be just a little bit too much? Already looking forward to Stan Lee’s cameo and the possible usual after-credit scenes.
