Ant-Man And The Wasp Trailer Review

30th January 2018

Today, Marvel decided to give us a small inside into the big adventures that will happen in Ant-Man and The Wasp, the second instalment of the Ant-Man Franchise.

We are very spoiled because we didn’t just get a trailer but also a brand new poster and the “Ants are very small” jokes from the first movie still stand.

During the first few seconds of the trailer, we are flashbacked to Captain America: Civil War in which Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) fought on Captain America’s side and we also see what happened with him during the aftermath of that battle.

It seems that in this movie, Ant-Man is doing everything he can to balance work and private life but when he’s presented with a new mission, that balance seems even harder to find.

Despite his problems, he can count again on the help from The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas).

Right in the middle of the trailer, we also get to see the first glimpse of Ghost, a Marvel villain turned into an anti-hero.

At first, there might not be any difference between this Ghost and the one that appeared in the original comics. However, the producers decided to turn the male character into a female one for the first time and Hannah John-Kamen is the lucky woman that will portray her.

The second present for us was a brand new poster of the movie and it’s full of the Ant-Man humour we expected it to have.

While the movie title appeared very big, you have to use a microscope to actually find the leading characters. They’re on the poster; you just have to look closely.

We can hardly wait to see the full movie when it will be released in UK cinemas on August 3, 2018! What are your thoughts on the Ant-Man and The Wasp trailer and poster?
