No plans for Friday 5th of April or Saturday 6th of April? Well, PosterSpy, the global creative hub for poster designers, has the perfect event for you. On those dates, they are organizing their first ever “Alternative poster art Portfolio Review” in Shoreditch and you are invited.

The ten artists, of whom the works are being showcased at the Old Street Gallery, have been shortlisted by a panel of six industry professionals from hundreds of applicants within the PosterSpy community worldwide.

During the grand opening of the exhibition on Friday the 5th, the winner of the competition will be revealed as well as the two runners up and there will be a Q&A with the grand prize winner. As if those amazing posters aren’t enough, there will also be free food and drinks all evening.

On Saturday, PosterSpy is hosting two special industry talks. Doaly, the UK based artist who has worked for some of the world’s biggest studios, will present his work and will be available for a Q&A. During the second talk, the audience will be given the chance to got to know the UK artist Dan Mumford even better. He will be talking about his experiences, his screen printing techniques and how he has become one of most recognisable artists of the industry. Guests are welcome to bring their Doaly or Dan Mumford posters to be signed.
