I’d heard lots of good things about Killer Joe, from the performances to the actual story, I hadn’t heard a bad word.

Taken was the surprise hit when it was released a few years ago. It did what The Bourne Identity did a while ago – not much at the cinema and then took off on DVD rentals becoming a cult hit.

When you’ve written and directed Chopper and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford you’ve got a lot to live up to

You would expect this movie to be a lot more fun then it actually is

Jack Black is a lucky man. He has made some bad, bad movies as anyone who has seen Gulliver’s Travels can attest!

Probably not is the answer to the title. I was so looking forward to Rampart. I like Woody Harrelson, I think he’s a really good actor and he is, he is really good in this.

I may have mentioned in the past that I’m not keen on thinking about ‘who-dunnit’ in a movie or trying to 'second-guess’ what’s-what from the start.

I don’t often agree with movie critics. In fact generally if they like something I absolutely hate it, well I usually don’t like it at least.

I confess I have a soft spot for Luc Besson, in fact I love his movies from the Fifth Element to Angel-A the man is a genius and I won’t hear another word on the matter!

In the decision you currently have, particularly in the UK, around which Sherlock Holmes to spend your hard earned cash on, I feel I can offer some wisdom.
